About Invent Learning Hub
Invent Learning Hub is an innovative new approach to traditional public education. In the fall of 2019, ILH opened its doors to 100 elementary students who would become part of an experience-driven curriculum. Through our Design Thinking and Pathways courses, students learn the skills and mindsets needed for livable wage careers in the 21st century. These programs, combined with our rigorous math and ELA curriculum place our students on a path for success that they will carry on past their days at ILH.

Tracking and closely monitoring student progress through in-depth data analysis, and planning differentiated support when mastery is not met.
Building trust and community through leading weekly mentor groups focusing on developing social and emotional skills and supporting the SEL needs of our students.
Maintaining timely and frequent communication with parents and stakeholders building meaningful relationships with all involved in the success of our students.
Collaborating with team members to develop and maintain a school culture that focuses on human centered solutions and support for every member of the team through weekly staff SEL circles.
Ensuring all interactions with staff, students, parents, and stakeholders exhibit your commitment to professionalism and human-centeredness.
Collaborating with staff members to integrate Design Thinking principles into all curriculum and develop cross-curricular units of study.
Supporting student recruitment, enrollment, and retention activities as needed.
Required Education, Credentials, & Experience
A Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred
Valid Indiana teaching license
At least two years of experience teaching or leading in an urban school preferred
Perseverance to work in a startup environment
Passion for working with a diverse student body and community.

Duties are normally performed in a school/classroom environment. Duties may be occasionally performed on field trips away from school. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. The Classroom Teacher usually works in standards classrooms, but will frequently be required to complete tasks in a wide variety of locations within the school campus. The Classroom Teacher works a standard workweek, but additionally may work evenings, weekends, and any additional hours necessary to accommodate activities such as committees, fundraisers, public meetings, and representing the organization at public events.
