Interim Business Analyst (Hybrid – San Antonio)

A large San Antonio client is seeking an Interim Business Analyst for a 6-month engagement with potential to extend up to a year. This hybrid role is onsite Monday–Thursday and remote on Fridays . The Business Analyst will support the Accounting Data Governance team and Finance Systems Manager with critical sales and data validation initiatives.

Scope of Work:

• Validate data between XPOS, Macromatix, JDE, and the Data Warehouse

• Conduct transaction-level research and resolve discrepancies

• Maintain fee configurations in IRIS (EDM), XPOS, and Fourth

• Record 3rd party marketplace tax entries; dual entry required during parallel processes

• Assist with cash management reconciliations and transaction-level data validation

Ideal Candidate:

• Business Analyst or IS Analyst skill set with a strong data focus

• Accounting systems and restaurant accounting experience strongly preferred

• Hands-on experience working across multiple business applications

• Understanding of how operational processes generate data

• SQL skills (intermediate+) for data extraction and comparisons; Snowflake query experience a plus

• Flexible, adaptable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment
