Perform work involving maintenance skills to install, repair, and maintain machines, mechanical equipment, or structure of the facility. Identity the cause and complete the repair of unexpected breakdowns. Troubleshoot electrical/electronic, hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical and building components on industrial equipment plant wide and have basic knowledge of PLC's and controls.
Perform preventative maintenance inspections and service on machines. Fabricate new and/or replacement metal parts for equipment. Prepares reports documenting work performed.
Cleans, organizes, inventories, stocks, and otherwise maintains shop areas, parts, tools, and supplies." High School Diploma or GED required. Associate degree or College Degree in related field of study preferred. 3 to 5 years years relevant, job-specific experience required.
Be able to read & interpret part, machine, hydraulic, & electrical schematics. Proficient in using a multi-meter. Fundamentals of electricity, plumbing, pneumatic systems and hydraulics.
Experience in the following: Electro-mechanical work, Variable frequency drives, welding, Pneumatic controls, Inventory management, Air Compressors, Preventive Maintenance and Predictive Maintenance and Conveyor systems. Understanding of servo motors, encoders, drives, PLC's and controls." Must be able to prioritize assignments according to business needs. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining attention to detail and the ability to multi-task and prioritize.
