We are looking for a Maintenance Supervisor to join our team in Buckeye, AZ.

Shift: Monday - Friday 4:00am - 2:30pm with some weekend hours required

We offer bonus pay for weekend hours!

JOB SUMMARY:

Supervise department personnel in performing preventative maintenance tasks on the facilities and machinery. Plan, schedule and manage repairs to the facility and equipment. Ensure all work is scheduled and performed in a safe and efficient manner.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Coordinate and supervise activities of maintenance personnel and Tool Crib Attendant, determining specific work assignments.
• Ensure availability of materials, anticipating requirements and reordering.
• Routinely interface with Production Supervisors and Safety Coordinator as necessary.
• Ensure the work environment is safe by following prescribed guidelines.
• Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the company’s policies, programs and procedures.
• Ensure employees receive proper training on company equipment as required by OSHA regulations.
• Ensure repairs and maintenance to facilities, equipment and grounds are performed in a neat workmanship like manner.
• Ensure all work is performed and completed in conformance with any related codes, guidelines or standards established by a manufacturer or regulating body.
• Coordinate and oversee external service providers (Maintenance, Electricians, Contractors, etc.).
• Prepare and maintain a continuity binder of routine standard operating procedures.
• Maintain appropriate documentation of maintenance activities.
• Performs other job duties as required by supervisor.
• Regular and reliable attendance.

Anticipated Pay Range

$73,000 - $90,000

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on the job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position. The range may vary by location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by additional factors, including job related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Career Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or GED, Trade school certification in maintenance or related activities strongly preferred.
• 5 or more years of experience in a manufacturing environment with exposure to hydraulic systems, pneumatics systems, crane systems and industrial manufacturing equipment.
• Strong electrical experience required, experience in hydraulic and pneumatic systems preferred;
• Experience in operating, troubleshooting and repairing various types of production machinery, preferably in a manufacturing environment;
• Experience in LEAN manufacturing principles and Six Sigma a plus.
• Ability to apply and carry out written and oral instructions.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Frequent communication with others to exchange information.
• Frequent repetition of motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers.
• Frequent moving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one worksite to another.
• Occasional adjusting or moving objects up to 20 pounds in all directions.
• Constantly remaining in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods.
• Constant use of computer for prolonged periods.
• Constantly thinking and processing information.
• Constantly maintaining concentration and focus on tasks.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

• General office environment.
• May require occasional exposure to production area with airborne particles, loud noises, and extreme heat and cold. Personal protection equipment is required when entering manufacturing plant.
