Job Description
Insight Global is looking for three marine electricians to join our team in Newport News, VA. These candidates will be responsible for the overhaul of the John C. Stennis which includes troubleshooting electrical components aboard the vessel. Components include but are not limited to fan motors, pumps, circuit breakers, lights, solenoids, and motor controllers. These candidates will have between 2-4 years of marine electrical experience and are seeking a career opportunity with one of the Navy's largest contractors. The schedule for this role is Monday through Friday between 6am-2:30pm EST
Required Skills & Experience
2-4 years of experience as an electrician in the shipyard space. Experience troubleshooting and testing fan motors, control circuits, motor controllers, and solenoids. Knowledgeable in navy schematics and can interpret technical manuals. Experience in operational testing on Navy electrical systems. Experience using meters and meggers for electrical testing.
