(busiest day of the week!)2 days back-to-back off during the week and Saturdays always OFF alwaysFully climate controlled warehouse - must be ok with chill environment (no freezer, just fridge around 35 degrees)Fruits, veggies, fresh flowers etc. are at this distribution centerEssential Functions and Basic Duties:Operates a double pallet jack throughout the warehouse.Selects cases and applies pick labels.Obtains work assignments.Works in a fast distribution center environmentStacks cases onto pallets.Inspects equipment and fills out inspection checklist.Cleans work area.QUALIFICATIONS: Experience Required:Minimum one year warehouse experience requiredExperience with rider pallet jack, electric pallet jack or similarGood judgment is required for this position as there may be times when direct supervision may not be immediately available.Skills/Abilities:Frequently lift and/or move up to 60 poundsAbility to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.Ability to write simple correspondence.All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, age, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender, identity or expression, national origin, disability, or protected veteran status.
