Job Description

Our client, a leader in the construction and engineering industry, is seeking a Quality Analyst 5 to join their team. As a Quality Analyst 5, you will be part of the Quality Control department supporting various project teams. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Quality Analyst 5

Location: West Des Moines, IA (Onsite)

Pay Range: $50/hr - $55/hr

What's the Job?

• Review and interpret electrical system designs, schematics, and project specifications for compliance and constructability.
• Conduct regular on-site QC inspections and walkthroughs to verify adherence to project plans, UL standards, and specifications.
• Participate in weekly QA/QC meetings with the General Contractor and other scheduled project meetings.
• Document field conditions, non-conformances, and punch list items; follow up to ensure timely resolution.
• Provide recommendations for quality improvements and best practices based on inspections and field observations.

What's Needed?

• Experienced in DC construction and commissioning, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
• Proficient in interpreting electrical drawings and verifying design compliance.
• Well-versed in industry codes and standards (NFPA, NEC, TIA-942).
• Managed NCRs, root cause analysis, and corrective actions to improve quality.
• Supervised and mentored multidisciplinary teams on quality procedures.
