Job Description

SUMMARYThe Regional Sales Manager is responsible for directing and managing the regional sales department. This position will create and execute operational strategies to achieve business objects to deliver customer value and drive accelerated growth by working with other managers in planning, directing, and coordinating sales strategy for the Region for all of Ranger's service lines.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Provides clear direction to sales team with emphasis on improving systems, scripts, and development of team membersEntrepreneurial spirit with high level of ownership to the growth and profitability of business by utilizing successful best practicesResponsible for creating highly effective sales and rebuttal scriptingInspects, tracks, and analyzes performance metrics to make appropriate adjustments to improve ROI.Creates and analyzes sales department budgets to ensure projections are in line with operational goals and overall company growth strategyMotivate the team, track performance, and report metricsMonitor and evaluate industry trends and customer drivers as well as meeting regularly with management and stakeholders to discuss strategyManage proposal response process, including detailed RFP requirements, content creation, and inputs from various sourcesGenerate new leads, identify, and contact decision-makers, screen potential business opportunities, select the deals in line with strategies, and lead and facilitate pitch logisticsDevelop and implement overarching outbound sales and business development strategy, sales processes, structure, and best practices across the companySupport deal structure and pricing with business value analysis; negotiate prices for proactive bids and proposalsMaintain and share professional knowledge through education, networking, events, and presentations.Travel 75%Other duties as assignedREQUIRED EDUCATION, QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCEBachelor's degree in Business or ManagementSeven plus years of experience and proven ability to develop systematic processes in compiling and analyzing data to improve company's profitabilitySuccessful track record in B2B sales and negotiationExcellent verbal and written communication skillsWorking experience with sales techniquesProficiency with data analysis, forecasting, and budgetingProven ability to plan and manage resourcesAbility to deliver presentationsCOMPUTERSkilled in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Skype)Experience with CRM software (i.e., Salesforce)PRE-EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTSMust complete and pass all required pre-employment screeningsABOUT THE COMPANYRanger Energy Services is an oil & gas completion and production solutions company with a foundation built on well servicing, wireline, and natural gas processing.
