Job Title: Salesforce Administrator

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer and maintain our Salesforce platform, ensuring optimal performance and user support.
  • Customize objects, workflows, reports, dashboards, page layouts, and permissions to meet business needs.
  • Integrate Salesforce with third-party tools and platforms, particularly within the AWS ecosystem.
  • Leverage AWS QuickSight for data visualization and storytelling using data from Salesforce and other sources.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to gather requirements and translate them into scalable solutions.
  • Perform data management and validation across systems using SQL and other ETL tools.
  • Support ad-hoc data analysis and dashboard creation to inform strategic decisions.
  • Ensure data accuracy and security across platforms (Salesforce, AWS S3, QuickSight).
  • Develop and maintain documentation for configurations, processes, and best practices.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Salesforce Administrator.
  • Salesforce Administrator Certification (ADM 201 or higher).
  • Strong command of Salesforce configuration, including workflows, process builder, validation rules, and permission sets.
  • Experience with Posit / RStudio, data cleaning, and reporting.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS QuickSight for building interactive dashboards and reports.
  • Proficiency in SQL, including experience working with large datasets.
  • Familiarity with the AWS ecosystem, particularly S3 and Lambda.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.

Nice to Have:

  • Programming experience in R and/or Python for data analysis and automation.
  • Experience with Salesforce APIs and integration tools (e.g., MuleSoft, Informatica).
  • Background in data governance or business intelligence.
  • Familiarity with DevOps tools for Salesforce (e.g., Gearset, Copado).

Location: Richmond, VA (Hybrid Role; Needs to work 3 days from Office in a week). Can cnsider for Chicago, IL

Salary Range: The salary for this position is between $110,000– $120,000 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
