Sr. Associate, Project Manager (Models and Data) We are looking for a Sr. Associate, Project Manager to support a talented team of modeling professionals. A successful candidate will be organized, collaborative, and truly excited about delivering projects that leverage the latest modeling, data science and cloud technologies. You will have the opportunity to closely partner with multiple teams to deliver solutions using next level capabilities. The ideal candidate will be well managed, independent and comfortable leading meetings that involve technical subject matter. This role will work directly with technical teams, business customers and executive sponsors in a fast-paced environment. General Responsibilities Support small to moderately complex projects involving multiple teams in an Agile environment Partner with leads to develop and manage cross functional project plans in a dynamic environment Support quarterly PI planning activities and partner with multiple stakeholders to set the agenda Provide visibility into delivery targets, upcoming milestones and status of commitments to customers Proactively identify dependencies and negotiate resource commitments Proactively identify impediments and drive resolution Understand customer needs and help identify process improvements Build strong working relationships with delivery partners and business customers Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree or military experience At least 2 years of project management or process management experience Preferred Qualifications Master’s Degree Experience working in an Agile environment Project Management Professional (PMP), Scrum Master, Lean, Agile or Six Sigma certification Experience with Jira and Confluence software 1+ years of experience with Google Suite Experience supporting project delivery involving Amazon Web Service (AWS) cloud infrastructure and open-source technology Project consulting experience in a client facing environment At this time, Capital One will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization for this position. The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked. McLean, VA: $94,600 - $107,900 for Sr. Project Manager Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter. This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
