Make The Turn is on the lookout for a talented Videographer/Photographer to join our dynamic team. This role is available as either a full-time or part-time position, but we are primarily looking for part-time assistance to start.

We are looking for a professional who can assist us with on-site videography/photography. Some months may be 5 hours, other months may be 20 based on scheduling. This role will be primarily filming and capturing footage, and delivering to Make The Turn for our editing team to produce.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a creative professional passionate about visual storytelling. As a Videographer/Photographer, you will play a key role in capturing high-quality video and photos on site for a diverse range of clients. While your primary focus will be on filming and photographing, you'll work closely with our in-house editing team, under the guidance of our Director of Media, to ensure that the content you create meets our clients' needs and exceeds their expectations.

This position offers the flexibility of a hybrid remote setup, allowing you to work remotely and visit clients directly at their locations. The role also involves occasional travel out of state, providing you with the chance to engage with clients and projects across different regions. Youll be the face of Make The Turn for our clients, handling direct communication via daily emails and participating in weekly or biweekly meetings.

Responsibilities
  • Capture high-quality video and photography on site for various clients.
  • Coordinate and plan content creation sessions to maximize efficiency and multipurpose use of the content.
  • Conduct interviews, gather b-roll footage, and take photographs that can be used across websites, social media, marketing materials, and internal communications.
  • Work closely with clients to understand their needs and ensure that content aligns with their brand and goals.
  • Maintain and operate video and photo equipment, ensuring all gear is in excellent working condition.
  • Collaborate with our in-house editing team, reporting to the Director of Media, to provide footage and images for post-production.
  • Utilize basic graphic design and editing skills as needed to complement content creation.
  • Communicate directly with clients via email and in weekly or biweekly meetings to ensure alignment and satisfaction with projects.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in videography and photography with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
  • Proficiency in operating video and photo equipment and capturing high-quality content.
  • Strong communication skills, with experience in interacting directly with clients and managing content creation sessions.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for creating compelling visual content.
  • A proactive attitude with a self-starter mentality, able to take initiative and manage tasks effectively.
  • Enjoyment of networking and client interaction, with access to an expense account for client entertainment.
  • Flexibility to travel out of state occasionally and adapt to a hybrid work environment.
  • Willingness to work closely with and report to the Director of Media, aligning with the overall media strategy of the company.
