Position Overview

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Weekend Cleaner to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in our restaurant. The role is essential to ensuring a safe, hygienic, and welcoming environment for both staff and guests.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning of dining areas, kitchen, restrooms, and storage areas.

• Sweep and mop floors.

• Wipe down tables, chairs, counters, and high-touch surfaces.

• Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, and floors.

• Empty trash and recycling bins; replace liners as needed.

• Wash windows, doors, and glass surfaces.

• Assist with deep cleaning tasks (e.g., degreasing kitchen equipment, scrubbing walls, cleaning vents) as scheduled.

• Replenish cleaning supplies and report low stock to management.

• Follow safety and sanitation procedures at all times.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning or janitorial experience preferred, especially in restaurants or hospitality.

• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.

• Physically able to lift up to 30 lbs and perform repetitive motions (bending, reaching, scrubbing).

• Availability to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday).

Work Schedule

• Weekends mornings only (Saturday & Sunday)

Compensation

• Hourly wage based on experience
