JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Title: Photo Editor/Photography Assistant

Department: Creative and Content Services

Reports To: Director, Photography

Status: Seasonal, Non-exempt


The Seattle Mariners Baseball Club is seeking a highly motivated and creative individual to join the Mariners Photography Team. The entry-level photo editor / photography assistant will work with the team photographer with editing pre-game, game action, and various events, as well as some photography needs.

This position is seasonal with an expected end date of 11/15/2025
Essential Functions:
  • Edit, apply metadata, and organize pre-game, game action, and event photos
  • Post work with images in photoshop with treating and correcting photos
  • Assist with game day photography, including but not limited to shooting corporate signage, pregame, in-game entertainment, stadium, fan photos and some action as needed
  • Assist with e-mailing photos and other images as requested
  • Organize historical scanned images for archive
  • Assist with maintaining digital photo archive
  • Will perform other duties as assigned
Education and Experience:
  • One (1) year's relevant work experience required
Competencies, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA's):
  • Proficient with Photoshop and Photo Mechanic
  • Knowledge of photography principles
  • Familiarity with safety and legal terminology, processes, and procedures.
